Ted Conkaffey and Amanda Pharrell are on the case again. This time trying to solve the murder of two staff members at a local bar. Ex-cop Ted is trying to make himself a new life in Crimson Lake after being accused of raping a young girl and leaving her for dead. Until the girl's father tracks him down and forces him to help try to find the man who actually committed the crime. While Ted deals with his own drama, Amanda teams up with newbie detective Pip Sweeney to solve the recent killings.

Lake series and I would aruge it's better than the first. I really loved the diary parts where we get that creepy insight. I'm hoping for a third installment with this dynamic duo!!
