Sometimes this book was so depressing I could only read a few pages at a time. But I had read the first book and knew I had to stick with it. In the end, this was a great 2 book series.
Packed with surprises, twists, and turns that keep you enthralled. A very suspenseful story involving characters both familiar (Crimson Lake) and new - some frightening and those familiar, some become endearing. It is my sincere wish for an ongoing series. I will be thinking of the main characters, looking forward to hearing more about them as I do Hades and Eve. Ms.Fox has a real talent for creating such complex characters, I admire her creativity. I am and will remain a devoted fan. Thank you for giving me many hours of great reading!
