This was a very enjoyable read. The story continued to follow Ted and his case as well as introduced another mystery to be solved by the quirky Amanda.
There was more characters introduced in this book, and I think it added to the pacing. I really enjoyed more of Amanda, and her weird character. I already guessed she was on a spectrum, for possible Autism, and I loved that this book not only steered towards the same conclusion, but someone else finally recognized it too.
The case that Amanda was trying to solve was hinted at very heavily in the beginning, but I still loved how it wrapped up. Not necessarily for one of the characters, but overall a good mystery.
And then Ted. Oh Ted. I still can't get over how he has given up on his own case. Even though the case is being forcefully followed through, I wish he actually had some enthusiasm about finding out who did it. Too broody for me as a character. But a very believable if anything.
