Talk about a page turner! Strong characters, absorbing plot, and set in Australia make Redemption Point an exciting read. Loved the pairing of a former police detective and a private detective who both are in need of redemption.
Written in the first person, Ted Conkaffey's voice is realistic and keeps the story flowing and engaging. He is trying to reinvent himself after being falsely accused of abducting a teenaged girl, Claire Bingley. Claire's father still suspects him.
After two bartenders get murdered in the Barking Frog Bar, Ted becomes involved along with private investigator Amanda Pharrell. Twists and turns until the satisfying conclusion. I'd love to see these characters in a new mystery series.
