A 3 stars from means that I enjoyed the book enough to finish it but had more than one moment that made me want to DNF the book for good. It was overall an okay book.
There is a decent amount of sex in this book. There's a lot of sex in this book. The characters are masturbating, the characters are imagining sex, the characters are doing sex. I didn't have a problem with it because I like erotica but just so you know, if you don't like sex or sexual situations, this might not be the book for you.
The biggest problem that I had with the book was the characters Isabel and Tristan. I don't know how we were supposed to believe that they're functional adults when they act no better than teenagers but we're supposed to believe it. There was more than one instance where I just sat there wondering why on earth a grown man/woman would even do this; then remembered that they probably wouldn't. If immature adults aren't your thing, you won't like this book.
I liked the pacing and the overall story. I'll definitely be picking up the rest whenever they come out but this book JUST made it past being DNFd for me.
