Fast-paced and packed with action, mystery, and romance, this is a highly entertaining read and it was a great start to a multi-part series. "The Red Ledger Parts 1, 2, and 3" sets up all the questions that will be explored in the following parts of the series. The hero is a killer who has lost his memory. The heroine is his mark. How were they linked in the past? Why was he sent to kill her? Will they be able to answer these questions and build a future relationship? All these questions keep the pages turning in a highly entertaining read. My one caveat, and it may be a big one for some people, is the way the book is divided into so many parts. I would much rather buy one book and read it all at once.
