When reading this very short teaser, I found that, right away, I liked the writing style - it was eay to follow, flowed easily, and was both descriptive and creative. I enjoyed the friendship of the two men - that as it is/was - and the intriguing way "the girl" was brought in to the story, and how the mystery of her is built up. This book has had quite a bit of build up over the last month or so, and I've been looking forward to getting a chance to read it.
