With her friends worried, her job on the line, and her mental health crumbling, she’s forced to reevaluate her life and lean on her friends and family to help pick up the pieces. Carty-Williams describes the micro and macro aggressions Queenie faces in such a powerful way. This book will certainly have you examining power and privilege along with your own sense of self. I loved every page of it!
