From reading the description of this book, I wasn't sure that I would like it. I've never really been one for Woman's lit or literary fiction, and a book that sounded like a mix of the two genres didn't really appeal to me. But the sample drew me in. The whole thing intrigued me enough that I'll likely pick up the book when it comes out.
