Great first hand account of a gay Black man.

Brian Broome is a great writer and really draws you into his life and what he has gone through. I've been actively trying to read more diverse books and this sounds like a good one to add to my list. I think it's really good to read about people different from myself in order to see how other people live and to bring awareness of difficulties that others have. Brian has obviously, overcome a lot to get where he is.
