My favorite book written by Alexandra Christo so far!
To start, the cover is absolutely stunning! So I have read most of Alexandra Christo's books so it's safe to say that they are one of my favorite authors! But reading Princess of Souls, I have to say this is my favorite so far! If you combine all my favorite elements from all her other books I've read, it would be this book!
What really grabbed my interest at the beginning was the fact that it's a retelling of Rapunzel! Now, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Rapunzel retellings! Moving on...
This book has a great stance in being original, and very creative! Truly can say I've never read anything quite like it. The constant coming and going of the characters was something I'd never read in a book before, which made this quite compelling to me.
And the humor in this book was such an awesome touch! A short and sweet story that I think most people would love. The author managed to write such an amazing book and fairytale that is so difficult to accomplish!
If you like fantasy books or fairytale retellings, I would highly recommend this book to you!
