I've read a lot of fairy tale retellings, but something about this excerpt tells me that Alexandra Christo's twist on Rapunzel is going to be unlike anything I've ever read. In such a short amount of time, she's managed to capture my attention and immerse me in a compelling new world. I love the cadence of her writing and this excerpt's left me wanting more.
