My initial reaction was, "rapunzel-inspired YA fantasy romance? Say no more. I want this book." I was excited (still am), however the story doesn't quite
scream repunzel (and I don't mind that one bit). I like that as far as similarities go, there are hardly any (so far from what I've seen), which means this is a fresh new, take. I'm excited, the plot is interesting and so far, I like the mc enough. I will say, I'm not the biggest fan of the cover (which is a shame because Alexandra Christo has some of the coolest book covers), but that's just my personal preference. Overall, I'm excited for this new fairytale retelling.
