alright, so obviously its a preview and i only got to see the first person featured, however from what i saw it was a great concept. it talks about the historical use of makeup, how it's always been neutral. from here it breaks down the pigmentation found and/or what was assumed to have been used and the culture/thought process behind it. its nicely laid out with illustrations of the person they're talking about, as well as convenient headings and sub headings. between sections, there's information about how to find the products that fit your skin type and tone. application processes and strategies are also laid out. as i only got the sample, there wasn't enough to go off of due to how the book is laid out. i'm very interested regardless and find the concept and idea amazing, however the full execution is what could make or break this book.
