This is a very fun, engagingly written coffee-table/novelty book, blending fascinating historical detail with more contemporary stuff about makeup (both a how-to guide and a glossy discussion of the most popular makeup brands). And its focus on men and boys/masc folks is a greatly needed expansion in this genre. I'd for sure read the whole thing.
