I’m giving this book a three-star rating, because I’m still not sure how I feel about it… I first choose it because it was about a subject that I’ve never come across, specially in a YA book, and I honestly though that it would made me reflect about the subject and from that point develop my own opinions about this situation. This course of action has happened with other books and with several other subjects, and I knew from the very beginning that there would be parts of this book that I would definitely not like at all, but what happened with this story made me feel so awkward that there was a point that I seriously thought of just leaving it as a “did not finish”. I rarely leave a book as a DNF but with this story it was just tiresome and uncomfortable. I do get that that might the be vibe the author was looking for with some scenes in this story but it was not an easy read.
