Jo Beckett tends to jump into relationships too quickly. She puts her heart (and body) into something that she realizes to late is not reciprocated. That all changes one night when she overhears someone describe her using the term "practice girl". This extremely outdated term is used to describe a women who is only good for sexual practice and not relationship material. After realizing this is how she is seen, Jo decides to reflect on herself and the people surrounding her to figure out what needs to change and who she wants to be. Jo's journey of self discovery is beautiful, heart wrenching, and inspiring. She has the perfect mix of self love and self reflection.
The plot was fun and easy to follow. The style of writing was delightful and great to read. It was entertaining from beginning to end and kept you on the edge of your seat. All of the characters were lovable, dynamic and beautifully written. I loved this story, and it's exquisiteness just can't be put into words.
