This book was a breath of fresh air! I feel that it really covered many of the problems that today's teenager's face.

I think what I enjoyed most about this book is that it embodies the theme of girl-power without being preachy. In this book, Jo's character growth was enjoyable to read about--whether it was about her body, her mind, or her overall life.

I've never read about a main character who does wrestling, but Jo was definitely enjoyable to follow along with. I was definitely cheering for her the entire way.

I thought the relationship in this book was also enjoyable to read about. And I appreciated that this book is sex-positive, since it's something many teens go through. I think it's handled well too.

This book also covers the themes of teamwork, grief, perseverance, and self-reflection. I really appreciated that, as the story had a lot of emotional levels to it.

The one thing I didn't love was how abrupt the ending was. Other than that, I really am grateful to have the chance to read this book!
