Teenage me probably couldn't relate to Jo, but when I was in my 20s I'm pretty sure some dudes treated me like a practice girl, which really sucked. In that way, my heart went out to Jo from the beginning as she ran through the guys she liked who never wanted anything serious with her. I think this will be a good book, and I want to read more.
