Practice girl is a term I had never heard of prior to this book. Something tells me that this is not even the worst term out there.
Jo seems likable and relatable for teen girls today. As a mom my heart broke for the insecurities and confusion she felt. I feel like compared to other young adults books I've read this has a more mature tone for sure. Great start and I look forward to reading the book in its entirety.
