I felt for Jo as soon as she was introduced. I already love this story as my dad was also a wrestling coach, and has passed. I often felt like the tomboy who was often misunderstood by friends and classmates. Feeling like you’re the last one to know some super hurtful gossip is really relatable, and this stung my soul for her. I’m really interested and excited to see how she overcomes these obstacles and navigates her way through! Rooting for Jo all the way!!
