Wonderful and touching book. You can relate to Danny's character, not because he is perfect but because of his flaws and misgivings and he is a complex character, but all of the characters were well-written. Danny keeps himself set apart making this book interesting.While this is categorized as a YA novel, it is a universal story of love, family, redemption, and regrets that will resonate with readers of all ages. Danny is a high school senior who has his share of challenges (secretly in love with his best friend, who has a girlfriend; high-pressure school environment; hardworking, underemployed, close-mouthed parents) and works through them, uncovering family secrets on his way to a fulfilling and successful future.
