This was cute, and light hearted.
I enjoyed this book, it was sweet and light hearted. I needed something a bit fluffy to read after they heavy books I typically read. This one fit the bill perfectly. I enjoyed the characters, and the relationships between them. The author had a very simplistic writing style. Nothing gimmicky, or super cheesy. Just steady and good.
I really enjoy books that don't have that love at first sight, head over heals kind of stuff. Real love takes time to build, and I appreciate when authors of YA books express that. Young kids need to know real life doesn't work that way.
And of course YA romance has to have some sad stuff too. Which this book had a bit of, so that was nice. I loved the bright vibrant colors of the cover too. Very eye catching.
