This first look really drew me in, especially after the prologue which left me wanting to learn more about this experiment. The writing seems to be a good mix of poetic and straightforward, and the characters have really intrigued me. I look forward to reading about a teenage boy who seems to have a good family dynamic.
The cover is absolutely gorgeous. The colors on it and the contrast from the black and white person really draw me in. I also think the whole aesthetic fits the story, or at least the main character.
