I began reading the 'first look' of this book with the intention of only reading a few pages and moving on to work. The entire 'first look' later I finally take a breath - which is how this book moves in on you. It draws you in and everything else just stops as the story unfolds. I felt as if I was in the head of the main character, Daniel, as he fumbled his way through his emotions towards his parents, his friends, and his future. I feel as if this is one of those quiet storm types of books. It flows in around you like a cloud, then when it clears, you see what it leaves behind. I want to see what is left behind in the end. The cover is appropriate for the content and attracts the eye.
