Can I Picture an End to Picture Us In the Light?

The introduction to each of the characters in Picture Us In The Light gives me hope, hope of more insight and more searching for answers to the initial questions in the story. The truth however, is that after the initial rush of getting to know Danny and his friends, I really don't care about finding the "what makes them tick" answers. Over 70 pages in and I don't know anything more about the story line than I did after the first chapter. The tale is dragging and I question if I want to read the rest of the book. Because this author has such great reviews, I will probably stick with the story and hopefully reach a "now I get it" moment.
