The cover of Pick the Lock is strange and makes the reader curious. The synopsis sounds bizarre and focuses on what sounds like an abusive family dynamic. The excerpt gives off some very spooky vibes what with the old Victorian mansion. Pick the Lock sounds very interesting and I've heard good things about the author's previous books.
