The Patron Saints of Nothing. What can I say about the Patron Saints of nothing? I really enjoyed it! The cultural representation alone made it worth the read. I felt like I was watching a telenovela. It didn't take much to captivate me. There was so much drama and violence. The author's writing was so descriptive and so well done, I would definitely read more of their work. The main character is relateable in his eternal struggle of protecting his family and doing what he thinks is right. The villains are well written and the descriptions of the scenery were vivid enough to transport you to the locations in the story. I would definitely recommend The Patron Saints of Nothing- It definitely lives up to the hype!
