Sometimes you have to experience something to truly understand.

Patron Saints of Nothing grabs your emotions from the start and does not seem to want to let them go. Those "what if" moments in our life can really pull at you causing anguish and guilt unless you deal with them and that is exactly what the main character, Jay, intends to do. I found myself sucked into Jay's world, his emotions and thoughts. It is often heart-wrenching when you stop the day to day and really take a look at life and the world around you. I can not wait to see where Jay's travels, and truth seeking lead him in this original coming of age story.
