As a Filipino-American it is very very VERY difficult to find books about Filipinos that relates to the problems that Filipinos in America face. This book was something I was genuinely interested in for a long time because I felt like I could heavily relate to it. However, when I read the firstlook I was really saddened to find that I really disliked the writing style. I do think that if you're Filipino this book is a must read, if you like the writing style.
