I am already swept away by the beautiful language and phrasing in this book. I definitely want to read more of that. Plus, the story is so intriguing. I love that it has a suspenseful vibe, but that it is clearly going to be a meaningful story about family and justice. I also enjoyed that Jason is from Michigan, though I don't know how much that will come up in the rest of the book now that he's leaving for the Philippines. I would love, love, love to read the rest of this.
