A lot of complex issues, working together...

This book is timely, it appears to dive darkly into complex and present social issues, and it has a narrative voice that pushes the plot forward. I'm getting vibes similar to "Darius the Great is Not Okay" and "Long Way Down," two of my favorite reads of the last few years. The cover is stunning, and the premise promises and intense and emotional read.
