I have been out of this country twice in my life, and yet, not really. The first time was to Germany. I was very young. We lived on Army bases, so you could say I was still in the US. The second time was to Panama. Actually it was the Panama Canal Zone, another section of the US in a foreign place. I think Jay would feel a little like that. He's going to a foreign country that might be home, like home but different.
