Trashy Fun
This was my first Heather Graham book. While it had an interesting premise with its thriller and romance story combination, I didn't find the story all that thrilling. It has the elements of a story but lacks depth or creativity. However, it's a short book that can be read quickly as a fun escape. The action scenes are a bit gory but not over the top. I appreciate that Graham uses characters who fall under minority characters and that she shows how trauma stays with those who experience it in a realistic way in that she shows the people cope with it regularly. That said, I will likely not read another of her books as there are so many books out there, and I prefer stories with a little more substance.
