Thriller
This book starts off with a group of friends who are going to a haunted house around Halloween but Sarah's little brother Davy does not want to go in the haunted house, he does not like the costumes they seem too real and scary to him. It is a good thing that they don't go in because there are mutilated bodies everywhere and they are real people who have been murdered by an escaped convict. Davy has saved everyone in the group by making a big deal of not going in.
They all go here separate ways after that and don't talk about what happened to them until years later when something tragic happens to one of them and they are forced to reunite.
The book is good and well written it is just not my kind of genre.
