K.A.M has done it again. She has a knack for writing awesome supernatural thrillers and this book is no different. It's written in a tone that will be familiar to fans of her previous book "Rules of the Vanishing" but the story is one all of its own.
Marshall also excells at creating relatable characters. They are characters that you root for during the novel and come to love. She also is extremely talented at writing YA without being obvious YA. She keeps the themes of the characters current with their humor, their crushes and well just them navigating through life.
Conversations with each other are real and are raw. Not only that, she is able to create just the right amount of tension, suspense and anxiety as you read through her stories.
