This book begins with an intriguing sporadic radio transmission that is disrupted, then finally discontinued, when 31 residents of the town where the transmission originated, disappeared without a trace in the early 1970’s. The book then segues to 2018 where Sophia, protagonist of the story, picks up the thread. The enticement to the reader is being drawn back to the events that occurred 45 years prior and how they are connected to Sophia and others who have disappeared through the years.
