I am hooked. I don't usually get this excited about such a small snapshot of a book but this story has so many elements of books I enjoy. I love the mystery of the main character, Sophia trying to find out about her mother. She is chasing shadows. I also love that she's working with a scientist on Bitter Rock island. The story of the disappearances on the island are interesting and I would love to find out where all those people went!
