Ophelia after all is a heartwarming story of a teenage girl going through her senior year with her friends, and figuring herself out. It deals with topics of platonic and romantic love, as well as self identity. Ophelia struggles with the image of who everyone thinks she is, and her realizing that she doesn't fit in that box anymore, so how do you tell everyone that the person they think you are is no longer the real you?
Ophelia is such a real and complex character, and i loved being in her pov. Her friendships were so complex as well, and every single side character was delightful to read about, as well as incredibly diverse.
The asexual biromantic rep was incredible, and as one myself it felt incredibly real and special to read.
This book wasn't a romance, but it didn't need to be to be incredible. The writing is stunning and easy to read, and i will cherish this story and characters forever
