Do I know why I applied to review this book? Absolutely not. YA Contemporary isn't my favorite genre anymore and after reading the first chapter, I'm not sure I'll actually pick this book up. I love the concept and the cover is stunning, but Iiiiiii'm just not sure to be completely honest. I might try to pick this up in the future when I'm looking for a light, young adult contemporary but as of right now, that really isn't what I'm wanting in a book. I know that this is totally on my side of the line and I shouldn't have requested a copy if I knew I wasn't into the genre and I genuinely wish I could turn back time and just add the book to my To Read pile instead of requesting it for review.
Anyways, plot still sounds like a solid young adult contemporary and as I said earlier the cover is absolutely beautiful. I'm definitely going to be more harsh on myself when requesting books, haha.
