The cover of this book definitely caught my eye. I love the flowers on the cover and the happy vibes they give. So, the story - It was well written, and the characters were vibrant, really coming alive off the page. However, this one was very heavy on the high school drama. Since it’s a contemporary, that’s pretty much all the plot hung on, which is to be expected as it is a YA book. I just find that I don’t enjoy these type of books as much as I do others, like thrillers or fantasy. I’m always left feeling like the stakes weren’t high enough or something. I think it’s also because typically the plot line is ver predictable in this kind of books. I pretty much know how it is going to go.

That being said, there were a few things I did really like. I liked how several of the characters had a non traditional hobby for teens. For instance, Agatha love to see and do crafty things like that. My favorite though was Ophelia’s gardening with her roses. And it tied back to the flowers on the cover too.
