Ah, good old contemporary YA. . . the angst palpable, the cringiness embraced, the intensity bubbling up like teenage acne. It's a cute concept, and it seems well-written. . . I suppose it's not the author's fault that all adolescents are self-centered and awkward. Adds to the charm, I guess.
