I think the cover of this is book is cute and very eye catching. I enjoyed the writing of this excerpt it drew me in and kept me wanting to keep going with the story. Gene felt like he was a real person and I wanted to know how his story would turn out. I am intrigued by the story of both him and his father being interested in the medical field. The love story element also kept me wanting more. Overall the story seems well-rounded and I hope to read more when this book comes out!
