I rarely read this kind of book, and almost didn't pick this one up, but I'm glad I did! This is an amazing and well told story and I'm so glad I was able to read it! Based in some part on his grandmother's life story, this author beings forth a stirring story of a couple of Jewish decent as they try to flee Mussolini's foreboding influence.
I noticed that a lot of words and phrases were repeated, but the editing was well done and I didn't find any typos in this, which some indie books struggle with.
This one also has a very compelling story and straddles the line between fiction and non-fiction, and it an interesting book that's almost in a category of it's own. I'm glad I was able to read this one!
