This book just wasn't for me, unfortunately. I thought the pacing seemed slow and none of the characters were very likable. Usually, you have one or two that stick out and you root for, but I just didn't connect with any of them.
I think this is a book that I'll revisit later on to see if I connect more at a different time in my life. I found my thoughts straying to other books waiting for me on my shelf and not really paying attention to what I was reading. So this was most likely my problem rather and an issue with the book itself! I think if you love police procedurals you will really enjoy this book, especially if you're a fan of LA. The mystery is compelling, just couldn't pay attention enough to get to the end.
