I really liked the book the story line was great and kept my interest all through the book which is something I really look for in a good book. I liked the characters in the book and the way they interacted. The plot was good just when I had thought I figured things out there was a bit a of a twist.
Well, this was definitely a new twist on crime thriller and a refreshing one at that, as a History Professor turns Homicide Detective in L.A. I will admit that he left me stranded at times as he applied historical intellect to cases. It was a first book for this author and I think he did a great job with the writing it flowed well which I like. I will definitely look forward to a continuation.
