The Beginning of One Day You'll Burn is interesting with a descriptive beginning. There was a body discovered that had been gruesomely burned. The description was well-done. The book takes place in Los Angeles, where I used to live; I appreciated the description of the setting in ways that only someone who had done their research or visited/lived in LA could have done. If you're into detective novels I can definitely see giving this one a chance.
