This book definitely has a creepy Halloween type feel to it. It currently reminds me of House of Salt and Sorrows and The Tenth Girl with that creepy vibe of girls dying and coming back to life with magic or some other power.
The cover is really pretty, I think it goes along well with the story and really elevates what the book is about. If I saw this book out and about I would probably pick it up based on its cover.
One thing I'm not a fan of is the multiple times mystery or questions that need to be answered are mentioned, it doesn't add anything to the story, but it does feel like it takes away from the story constantly mentioning that there are secrets to find out and mysteries to be solved.
