This book was definitely unique.
I have never read a WWII novel that revolved around messengers pigeons and the part that they had in the war.
I really liked getting to see that part of history and how it worked.
That being said the book itself was a bit slow.
At the end of the book when olive is so close to unraveling the mystery of the murder does the book pick up pace and you find yourself heavily engaged in its story.
Overall it was a good read but lacked the fast and easy flow of other books that I have read.
I would recommended this book to a friend based on it's the uniqueness revolving around the pigeons.
I liked olive's character and her genuine care for justice and equality but overall the story was a predictable.
I guessed the murderer within reading half of the story.
I liked this book, but it really could have been fleshed out a bit more.
