I haven't read many World War Two novels so this was a breathe of fresh air for me. I found the book title very intriguing which caused me to click on it, I don't think I've ever heard the term Pigeoneer until now. The booklet with recipes and historical facts is so interesting and it ties the theme together, very cute idea.
